Ingredients needed for Cherry Oreo Fudge:
- Butter
- Sugar
- Flour
- Oreo’s
- Eagle-brand (sweetened condensed milk)
- White Chocolate
- Maraschino cherries
- Maraschino Cherry juice

Instructions
- Spray a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray, and line the bottom with parchment paper.

2. Place the flour in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave the flour until it’s hot, about 1 1/2 minutes. Add the salt to the bowl and mix until smooth.

3. Melt the Butter and White Chocolate in the microwave at 10 second intervals, stirring between, until melted. Stir well. Add Sugar and stir to blend until smooth.

4. Add the Eagle-brand milk to the melted white chocolate mixture, and stir until smooth. Add the Maraschino Cherries, and Cherry juice, and stir well.

Pour half of the Fudge mixture into the square pan, and press evenly into the pan with a spatula, or the back of a large spoon.

Add the broken Oreo’s on top of the fudge, and pour the remaining Fudge mixture on top, and smooth with a spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or longer if needed, until the fudge is firm, and set.

- Cool Completely: Allow the fudge to cool completely at room temperature before attempting to store it. This helps prevent condensation inside the storage container.
- Cut into Portions: Consider cutting the fudge into individual portions before storing. This makes it easier to grab a piece without having to break a larger slab.
- Parchment Paper Layers: If stacking multiple layers of fudge in a container, place parchment paper between the layers to prevent sticking.
- Airtight Container: Store the fudge in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out or absorbing odors from the surrounding environment.
- Refrigeration: While fudge doesn’t require refrigeration, storing it in the refrigerator can extend its shelf life, especially in warmer climates. Just ensure it’s well-wrapped to prevent any absorption of odors.
- Room Temperature Storage: If stored at room temperature, keep the fudge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Freezing: Fudge can be frozen for longer storage. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then place it in a zip-top freezer bag. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
- Sharp Knife: Use a sharp, clean knife to cut the fudge into neat squares. Dip the knife in hot water and wipe it dry between cuts for cleaner edges.
Experiment with Decorations: Consider adding extra crushed Oreos or a drizzle of melted chocolate on top for visual appeal.
