The Wrapping Ritual:

Unravel the mystery of Mummy Hot Dogs with these simple steps:

1. Preheat the Mummy Tomb:

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). This is the tomb where your mummies will undergo their delicious transformation.

2. Unveil the Mummy Bandages:

Cut the dough into strips (see photo). The strips will be the bandages that wrap around your hot dogs.

3. Wrap with Care:

Roll a slice of bacon around each hot dog and then wrap a strip of dough around the hot dog and then another strip of dough around the hot dog in a diagonal direction. Continue wrapping each hot dog until they are all snug in their doughy bandages.

4. Bake to Mummification:

Spray the air fryer tray with cooking spray and lay each hot dog on the tray. Cook for 10 minutes, allowing enough time for the bacon to get crisp and the dough to cook properly.

5. Mummify the Eyes:

When hot dogs are cooked, leave them to cool off in the air fryer or remove them from the air fryer and place on a rack to cool a bit, add two candy eyes to each hot dog, carefully tucking them under and around the crescent roll dough.
