BEST MARGARITAS
There’s also a newer version which is 2-1-1, and another version which is 1-1-1. Really though, it all comes down to personal taste. If you like sweeter drinks, you may add equal parts of Tequila and Triple Sec, and only 1 part Lime Juice.
Or, if you’re the opposite, and don’t like sweet drinks, you might want to add a little more Lime Juice, and a little less Triple Sec. No matter how you decide to mix up your very own favorite, one thing is sure, you’ll still want the classic Lime wedge run around the edge of your glass, and a dip in the Salt, to set off all the flavors, and make your version shine.

INGREDIENTS IN A MARGARITA:
The three main ingredients in a classic Margarita, or the old traditional way of making them is:
Tequila – which is the classic boozy ingredient to use for Margaritas. We suggest Jose Cuervo, but you can use your favorite brand if preferred.
The Tequila sets the tone for the drinks, meaning the better brand of Tequila, the better your Margaritas will taste. The better brands will have a smooth quality about them, and an equally smooth flavor, giving your drinks a wonderful flavor. Triple Sec: Is an Orange flavored Liqueur, and it’s the sweet part of the drink. We suggest Triple Sec, to balance out the Tequila, or, you can also use Grand Marnier, or Cointreau. But, Grand Marnier is a blend of Congac and Triple Sec, and while it does taste like an Orange Liqueur, it has a higher alcohol content, and since you already have Tequila in your drinks, we think Triple Sec works best for a great Margarita.
Lime Juice: You’ll want to make sure and have plenty of fresh Lime’s on hand, since you’ll be using the fresh squeezed Juice in the Drinks, to rim the glasses, and for a garnish. We suggest only fresh squeezed Lime Juice, and nothing bottled for a wonderfully balanced Margarita, with a great flavor.
We’d also suggest keeping your Tequila, Triple Sec and Limes in the refrigerator to make sure you get a really chilled cool Margarita, and you won’t need Ice, unless you like your drinks on the rocks, or frozen.
OTHER INGREDIENTS AND SUGGESTIONS:
There are lots of flavors you can make, so keep reading, and we’ll link you to all of our great recipes, and suggestions. For instance, you may want to try, Limoncello, Orange, Blue Caracos, Strawberry, Watermelon, Cherry, and we’re working on more flavors, coming soon, so make sure you come back for other new and great flavors.
You’ll want to make sure you have Margarita Salt on hand. You can buy it at your local grocery store, liquor stores, or most places where party supplies are sold. It comes in a small flat container, that makes it easy to dip the rim of your glasses, and lightly coat them in the Salt that adds a wonderful flavor to Margaritas.
We’d also suggest Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix. The flavor in the mix is really great, and it’s also great if your in a pinch and didn’t have time to gather your three ingredients. All you do is follow the instructions of the back of the Bottle, which is basically to add Tequila, salt and limes to your glasses, finish off with the Margarita mix, and you’ve got a great drink. We’d suggest keeping the mix refrigerated to it’s chilled to make your prefect drinks.
