Ingredients

Pork Chops

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 packet Lipton French Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 bags Success white rice (or equivalent cooked rice)
  • ½–¾ cup water (as needed)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

1. Season & Bread the Pork Chops

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Lightly dredge each chop in flour, shaking off excess.

2. Fry the Pork Chops

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add pork chops and fry until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side depending on thickness.

Remove chops from skillet and set aside.

3. Cook the Onions

Add the chopped onion to the same skillet.
