You’ll also want some extra eyeballs and plastic spiders to decorate your table.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: In a large bowl, break the eggs, and beat them with a whisk until they’re light lemon yellow, and fluffy. Add sugar to the eggs and whisk until light and fluffy. Next, add milk and oil, whisk until eggs, sugar, oil, and milk are completely incorporated. Add the Flour and baking powder and whisk together until the ingredients are mixed. (Batter may be a little lumpy, but that’s okay).

Step 2: Line a 9×13 baking sheet with parchment paper and pour batter on top of the parchment paper. This will keep your pancakes from sticking and ensure easy removal when you cut the pancakes into squares to serve.

Step 3: Using a spatula spread the batter out evenly in the pan, making sure it is spread to the sides and corners of your pan.

Step 4: Using green, yellow, blue, and orange gel food colors add each color in it’s own 1/4 section of the batter.

Step 5: Take a spoon and swirl each gel color in the pancake batter until you reach the desired effect like the image below.

Step 6: Place your pancakes in a 350-degree oven and bake for 12 minutes as soon as the pancakes come out of the oven poke the gummy eyeballs into each section.

  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ¼ cups Milk
  • 3/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • Gel food colors (Green, yellow, orange, blue)
  • Gummy eyeballs
