  • 4 tablespoons Italian sweet cream coffee creamer or milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Torani gingerbread syrup
  • 3/4 cup black coffee
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • gingerbread cookies

Brew the coffee in either a drip coffee maker or a French press, set aside when coffee is fully brewed. In a sauce pan over low heat, add sugar, vanilla, gingerbread syrup, cinnamon, and brewed coffee. Stir until combined about 3 minutes over low heat. Using a milk frother or small electric whisk froth the milk until a thick foam appears and you can use a spoon to scoop up the foam and add it to the top of the coffee. Pour coffee into coffee mug, add creamer, spoon foam on top of coffee and sprinkle part of a gingerbread cookie on top of foam and garnish with gingerbread man cookie (if desired).

What is Monin brand syrup?

Monin is a brand of gourmet flavored syrups that have been around since 1912 and were created by George Monin in France. In 2012 they celebrated 100 years of making flavored syrups. They offer a wide range of syrup flavors and I personally use a lot of their flavors in my desserts and drink recipes. I have tried the toasted marshmallow, peppermint, lavender, maple donut, sugar cookie and so many other flavors. You can make a variety of cocktails using their flavored syrups you can even add them to baked goods if you want a flavor boost. I added the toasted marshmallow to smores waffles that I made and it was amazing!
