HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
1 box of Cherry Jello – 6 ounce
1/2 cup of Water
1 cup of Coca Cola
1 cup of Malibu coconut Rum
1 Jar of stemmed Maraschino Cherry
Jello shot cups or plastic condiment cups 2 oz size
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
In a heavy medium size Sauce Pan, bring the water to a boil, remove from heat, and add the gelatin mixture to the boiling water. Stir to dissolve the Jello. When the Jello is dissolved, add the cold Cola. Let the Jello cool to room temperature, then add the cup Malibu Rum, and stir well to mix. Place the Shot Glasses on a cookie sheet that will fit in the refrigerator, and pour, or ladle the Jello into the plastic cups. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set. Before serving, add a Maraschino Cherry in the center of the Shot. Serve, and Enjoy!

Can i make flavor variations with this exact recipe?
Yes! You can switch up the jello flavors in this recipe and swap out the cherry jello for watermelon jello, strawberry jello, and even lime jello. You could also use malibu watermelon rum with the watermelon or strawberry jello flavors, yo would need to substitute about a cup of watermelon vodka or rum for the malibu rum.
You can easily make blue hawaiian jello shots with berry blue jello instead of cherry jello. You can take out the coca cola use blue curaçao along with malibu rum. Top with whipped cream and a small pineapple wedge.
We are also big fans of anything orange creamsicle and orange creamsicle jello shots are a favorite summer treat. You need one box of orange jello, dissolve jello in boiling water, and add one cup triple sec. Pour into plastic shot cups and let sit up for about 2 hours.
