Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips
  • Mini pretzel snaps (broken in half for antlers)
  • Red hot candies or red M&M’s (for noses)
  • Candy eyes
  • Holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Using a spoon, make round circles of melted chocolate on the parchment paper — these will be the reindeer faces.
  4. While the chocolate is still warm, add your decorations:
    • Place two broken pretzel halves at the top for antlers.
    • Add two candy eyes near the center.
    • Press one red candy at the bottom for the nose.
    • Sprinkle a few festive sprinkles around for extra holiday cheer.
  5. Let the chocolate cool and harden completely (about 20–30 minutes at room temperature, or 10 minutes in the fridge).
  6. Carefully remove from the parchment and store in an airtight container.

Jennie’s Notes

This recipe is so versatile — you can use white chocolate, milk chocolate, or even peppermint bark as your base. I love making a tray of different variations for a pretty holiday dessert table.

They also make adorable gift bag treats — just wrap a few reindeer bark pieces in a clear cellophane bag, tie with a red ribbon, and you’ve got the cutest homemade gift ever!

For perfectly smooth melted chocolate, I recommend using Ghirardelli melting wafers — they melt evenly and set with a glossy finish.
