  • 2–3 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 cup candy melts or melting chocolate discs
  • Colorful sprinkles
  • Whipped topping (store-bought or homemade)
  • Maraschino cherries (drained and halved)

How to Make Banana Split Bites:

Step 1: Prep the bananas
Peel your bananas and cut them into 2–3 inch pieces. Make sure they’re firm and not too ripe so they hold their shape.

Step 2: Melt the chocolate
Melt your candy melts or chocolate discs according to the package directions until smooth and silky.

Step 3: Dip and decorate
Dip each banana piece halfway into the melted chocolate, then immediately roll the dipped end in sprinkles. Place on a parchment-lined tray.

Step 4: Let them set
Allow the chocolate to set and harden for about 10 minutes at room temperature or in the fridge.

Step 5: Top with whipped cream
Spoon or pipe a small dollop of whipped topping on top of each banana piece.
