Easter is coming and it’s time to get creative in the kitchen! What better way to impress your family than by making bunny butt chocolate covered Oreos? The combination of crunchy Oreo cookies and creamy melted chocolate is sure to be a hit. Plus, they’re easy enough for even the most novice of bakers to make. Let’s explore how you can make these delightful treats this Easter.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 package of Golden Oreo Cookies
- 2 cups of White Chocolate Almond Bark – melted
- White NonpareilsÂ
- 1 package of Wilton Bunny Candy FeetÂ
- 1 bottle of White Pearl Candy Balls – for the tailsÂ
Lay out a large sheet of Parchment Paper on the counter or table. Place the Nonpareils in a shallow dish, with a flat bottom. Â
Place 4 squares of the White Chocolate Almond Bark in a bowl, and Microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, stopping at 15 second intervals to stir the Chocolate, until completely melted. Dip Oreo Cookies one at a time in the White Chocolate, covering one side of the Cookie, then dip immediately in the White Nonpareils, and lay on Parchment to set, with the dipped side up. Â
Place the Bunny Feet on the cookies, and press gently to secure in the Chocolate. Place one of the Pearls in the center of the Cookie, for the Bunny tail.Â
Allow about 1 hour to completely set the Chocolate, Bunny Feet and tail. Place on a platter, or plate. Serve, and Enjoy!
Bunny butt Oreos are sure to bring some joy this Easter season! Not only are they fun to make with friends or family members but they also provide an opportunity for creativity when decorating these adorable treats with different colors and designs.
