I like to press them into a buttered baking dish and let them set for just a bit before slicing into neat rectangles. From there, the fun begins. Melt some white chocolate and use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle it back and forth over each treat. You don’t need perfection here—mummies are supposed to look a little messy!

Finish each one by pressing on a pair of candy eyes while the chocolate is still soft. The result is a tray of spooky-sweet treats that kids absolutely love. And honestly, grown-ups can’t resist them either.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows (about 4 cups)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • Candy eyeballs (available at most grocery or craft stores)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and gently stir in the cereal until evenly coated.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
  4. Once set, slice into rectangles or squares.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle the melted chocolate across each Rice Krispy treat to look like mummy bandages.
  7. While the chocolate is still soft, press two candy eyes on each.
  8. Let the chocolate set before serving or packaging.
