  2. Sugar:
    • Sweetness is the key, providing the right balance for the cookie base.

  4. Vanilla Extract:
    • A hint of vanilla adds depth and richness to the flavor.

  2. Adding the Egg and Vanilla:
    • Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract for a flavor boost.
  3. Combining Dry Ingredients:
    • Mix the all-purpose flour and almond flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Chill and Roll:
    • Chill the dough, then roll it out for that perfect Linzer cookie thickness.
  5. Cutting Shapes:
    • Use round cookie cutters to create pairs of matching shapes.
  6. Creating the Window:
    • Cut a smaller shape from the center of half the cookies with a small hear cutter for the iconic Linzer look.
  7. Baking to Perfection:
    • Bake until golden brown, filling your kitchen with heavenly aromas.
  8. Assembling with Raspberry Jam:
    • Spread a layer of raspberry jam on the whole cookies, then top with the window-cut cookies.
