For the Royal Icing:
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp meringue powder
- 4-6 tbsp water
- Gel food coloring (yellow and orange)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Cookie Dough:

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the chilled dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Using a candy corn-shaped cookie cutter, cut out the cookies and transfer them to the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
- Prepare the Royal Icing:
- In a large bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and meringue powder.
- Gradually add water until the icing reaches a pipeable consistency. Divide the icing into three portions.
- Tint one portion yellow, one orange, and leave the third portion white. Place each color into separate piping bags.

- Pipe the white icing on the top section of the cookie, followed by orange in the middle, and yellow on the bottom. Allow the icing to set before serving or storing.
