How to Make Chocolate Reindeer Antlers for Christmas Treats
If you’re looking for an easy and fun way to dress up your holiday desserts, these chocolate reindeer antlers are perfect! With just a little melted chocolate and a piping bag, you can create cute edible antlers to top festive Christmas treats like my Reindeer Rice Krispy Treats and Ritz Cracker Reindeer Treats. They’re simple enough for kids to help with, but still impressive enough to make your holiday goodies extra special.

Why You’ll Love These Chocolate Antlers
- Quick & Easy – Just melt, pipe, and set.
- Customizable – Make them big or small depending on the treat.
- Festive – The perfect finishing touch for reindeer-themed Christmas desserts.
- Kid-Friendly – A fun holiday activity for little helpers in the kitchen.

Ingredients You’ll Need
- 1 cup melting chocolate (milk, dark, or semi-sweet all work)
- 1 piping bag (or a zip-top plastic bag)
- Wax paper or parchment paper (to pipe onto)

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Melt the chocolate. Place your melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Prepare your piping bag. Fill a piping bag (or a plastic zip-top bag with the corner snipped off) with the melted chocolate.
- Pipe the antlers. On a piece of wax paper or parchment, pipe antler shapes. You can keep them simple with two or three branches or make them more detailed. I took photos while piping mine, and it was fun to see the antlers take shape one by one!
- Set and peel. Let the chocolate harden completely at room temperature, or place in the fridge for about 10 minutes. Once set, carefully peel them off the paper.
- Decorate your treats. Insert the chocolate antlers into the top of desserts like Reindeer Rice Krispy Treats or Ritz Cracker Reindeer Treats.

Tips for Success
- Use milk chocolate for a lighter antler look, or dark chocolate for a richer color.
- Make extra antlers in case a few break during peeling.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to use.
