I used classic Rice Krispies Treats, then decorated them with chocolate, candy eyes, a red candy nose, and pretzels for antlers. Since I only had square pretzels on hand, I dipped half of each square in melted chocolate to create fun little reindeer ears and antlers — and they turned out just as cute as the round pretzel version.

How to Make Reindeer Rice Krispies Treats

  1. Make the base:
    • In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until smooth.
    • Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies until well coated.
    • Press mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish. Let cool completely, then cut into 12 rectangles.
  2. Prepare the antlers:
    • Dip the top half of each square pretzel in melted chocolate. Let set on parchment paper until firm. These will be your reindeer antlers.
  3. Decorate the reindeer:
    • Dip the top of each Rice Krispies rectangle into melted chocolate.
    • While chocolate is still wet, place two pretzel antlers on top.
    • Add two candy eyes and a red candy for the nose.
  4. Let set:
    • Place decorated treats on parchment paper and allow chocolate to harden before serving.
