Reindeer Rice Krispies Treats
Reindeer Rice Krispies Treats
If you’re looking for a fun and easy Christmas treat idea, these Reindeer Rice Krispies Treats are an adorable and kid-friendly dessert to make this holiday season.

Perfect for Christmas parties, classroom treats, or holiday movie nights, these reindeer snacks are made with simple ingredients and a little creativity.

I used classic Rice Krispies Treats, then decorated them with chocolate, candy eyes, a red candy nose, and pretzels for antlers. Since I only had square pretzels on hand, I dipped half of each square in melted chocolate to create fun little reindeer ears and antlers — and they turned out just as cute as the round pretzel version.

These are such a festive spin on the traditional treat, and they’re guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone who sees them.

Ingredients You’ll Need
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chocolate melting wafers (or chocolate chips + 1 tsp coconut oil)
- 12 square pretzels (or traditional mini pretzels if you have them)
- 24 candy eyes
- 12 red hot candies (or red M&M’s for Rudolph noses)

How to Make Reindeer Rice Krispies Treats
- Make the base:
- In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies until well coated.
- Press mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish. Let cool completely, then cut into 12 rectangles.
- Prepare the antlers:
- Dip the top half of each square pretzel in melted chocolate. Let set on parchment paper until firm. These will be your reindeer antlers.
- Decorate the reindeer:
- Dip the top of each Rice Krispies rectangle into melted chocolate.
- While chocolate is still wet, place two pretzel antlers on top.
- Add two candy eyes and a red candy for the nose.
- Let set:
- Place decorated treats on parchment paper and allow chocolate to harden before serving.

Tips & Variations
- Swap out red hots with red M&Ms or even Skittles for the nose.
- Use white chocolate instead of milk chocolate for a frosty look.
- Wrap each reindeer treat in a cellophane bag with a ribbon for a super cute edible Christmas gift.
