  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening (optional)

  • Mini pretzel sticks, broken in half

How to Make Halloween Frankenstein Strawberries

Step 1

Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely with paper towels.

The strawberries must be completely dry so the candy coating sticks properly.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet or large plate with parchment paper.

Step 3

Melt the green candy melts according to the package directions until smooth.

If needed, stir in the coconut oil to thin the coating slightly.

Allow the excess coating to drip off.

Allow the candy coating to harden completely.
