When making blueberry brownies, here are some recipe notes to ensure the best possible results.
What’s the best way to store leftover blueberry brownies?
Store leftover blueberry brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a few days. If you want to keep them for longer, you can refrigerate or freeze them. Just make sure they are wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent them from drying out.
Cooling time
Allow the blueberry brownies to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, this helps them to set and makes slicing easier.
Can I use dried blueberries?
I used fresh blueberries for this recipe, they provide the best flavor and texture. You can’t always be sure dried berries are fresh.
Can I use frozen blueberries?
You can use frozen blueberries but be sure you lay them out on a paper towel to thaw first and pat them dry to avoid excess moisture in your brownies.
Gentle folding
When working with fresh berries I always find it’s a good idea to be gentle when folding the berries into the batter. This ensures you won’t smash or break the tender berries in your batter. Be sure to avoid overmixing as well, that can lead to tough brownies, instead of the moist and fudgy texture.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Line an 8X8 inch pan with Parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl, combine Eggs, Butter, Sugar, and Vanilla, stir until well blended.
Step 2: Add the all-purpose flour and stir to blend.
Step 3: Add the melted White Chocolate Chips to the batter and stir.
Step 4: Place blueberries in a bowl and coat with one tablespoon of flour. (This keeps the berries from sinking to the bottom when baking). Then gently fold the blueberries into the batter and stir. Pour the blueberry brownie batter into the pan, and place in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Remove brownies from the oven to a wire rack, and cool completely. Frost the top of the brownies with the vanilla frosting and top with more fresh blueberries if you have them.
