Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, vanilla, egg and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2: Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then stir until a thick cookie dough forms. Then add red food coloring and stir until the cookie dough is red. Next, sprinkle hot cocoa mix over the dough and stir until it is fully incorporated in the cookie dough.
