HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2 1/3 cups of Flour
- 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 1/2 cup of Cocoa
1 cup of Butter – softened (2 sticks) - 3/4 cup of Sugar
- 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar – packed
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
- 2 Eggs – large
- 2 cups of Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- Nonpareils – any colors, or assorted
- 1 package of Fudge Brownie M & M’s
- 2 – 3 squares of Chocolate Almond Bark – melting Chocolate – see instructions
 HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, add the Butter, Sugar, and Brown Sugar, and mix until smooth and creamy. Add the Eggs, and Vanilla, and mix until well blended. In a separate bowl, add the Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, and Cocoa and mix together until completely blended. Add the Flour mixture to the mixing bowl, a little at a time, blending between additions. When all the Flour mixture has been added, and batter is mixed smooth, remove the mixing bowl from the mixer, and add the Chocolate Chips. Fold the Chocolate Chips into the batter with a spoon.Â
Line 2 Cookie Sheets with Parchment paper, and using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookies onto the Parchment paper. Place the Cookie sheet into the oven, at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
When cookies are completely cooled, place 2 – 3 squares of Chocolate Almond Bark in a Microwave safe dish, and melt the chocolate for about1 minute, stopping every 15 seconds to stir. When the chocolate is melted, dip the back of a spoon into the chocolate, and spread or swirl onto the cooled cookies. Sprinkle with the Nonpareils, and place 4 or 5 of the M & M’s on top of the Chocolate, while it’s still warm, so that the M & M’s will set in the Chocolate as it cool. Let cool completely, about 30 minutes. Serve, and Enjoy!
Makes 3 – 4 dozen cookies (approximately 40 cookies)
NOTE: If you don’t have Chocolate Almond Bark, or cannot find it, any Melting Chocolate will work to ice the Cookies; however, the taste may be slightly different. The Melting Chocolate is found on the Baking Isle, and it is not Chocolate Candy Bars. Candy Bars won’t have the same texture when melted, so make sure you use the Almond Bark or Melting Chocolate, if possible.
