2. Prepare the White Cheesecake Layer:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

3. Prepare the Black Cheesecake Layer:

  1. Repeat the same steps as for the white cheesecake layer, but this time add black food coloring to achieve your desired shade.
  2. Spread the black cheesecake mixture evenly over the white layer in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  3. Place the pan back in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or until set.

4. Create the Spiderweb Design:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth.
  2. Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the chilled cheesecake in a spiderweb pattern.
  3. Start from the center and draw circles outward, then use a toothpick to drag lines from the center to the edges to create the web pattern.
  4. Return the cheesecake to the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to set.

5. Serve and Enjoy:

  1. Once the spiderweb design is set, remove the outer ring of the springform pan and transfer the cheesecake to a serving plate.
  2. Slice into portions and serve chilled.
  3. Enjoy your spooky Halloween-themed cheesecake with a creepy spiderweb design!
