Ingredients

  • 2 chicken quarters
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • Begin by mixing all the dry spices in a small bowl, then combine garlic and stir until mixed. Then, remove raw chicken from container and lay on paper towel, and spray with olive oil. Then, sprinkle generously the spice mixture all over the whole chicken, including the chicken drumsticks.
  • Then, with a pair of tongs, place the chicken pieces on the grill and close the lid. Turn on the power button, set to grill setting 2 ( high temperature) and leave them to grill, cook time is about 30 minutes or until the Ninja foodie beeps. Cooking them on a medium to high heat makes sure you get crispy chicken skin on the outside and tender meat on the inside. When they are done, you can check that the juices run clear and also check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. It should read 165 degrees to ensure they are fully cooked. Remove them from the grill and place chicken on a platter to serve and rest. Letting the chicken rest for a few minutes ensures juicy chicken every time.
