Pimento cheese & ham sliders
Oh, my word, talk about fabulous little Sandwiches to serve, you are going to love this recipe. Loaded with homemade pimento cheese spread, ham, and topped off with garlic butter and sesame seeds. These sliders are so easy to make, and they’re just delicious.
This is a great Sandwich to serve for a luncheon, or on a buffet, or for a light dinner. You can serve Pimento cheese & ham sliders with sliced tomatoes, pickles, olives, or other favorite condiments or sides.
You can add potato chips, crackers, or corn chips, for your favorite treat. No matter what you pair these with, they’re sure to be loved.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2 1/2 cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup of Mayonnaise
- 4 ounce jar of Pimento’s
- 1/2 cup of Cream Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
- 2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons of Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 teaspoons of Sugar
- Ham slices – leftover Ham, or Deli Slices
- 1 package of Hawaiian Rolls
TO BRUSH ON ROLLS:
- 3 Tablespoons of Butter – melted
- 1 teaspoon of Lawry’s Total Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon of Brown Sugar
- Sesame Seeds
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
In a large bowl, add the Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Mayonnaise, Pimento’s, Cream Cheese, Salt, Garlic Powder, Garlic Salt, Worcestershire Sauce, and Sugar, and stir well, until completely mixed, and all ingredients are well blended.
Cut the Hawaiian Rolls in half and place the bottom half of the Rolls in a small glass dish.
Place Ham on the Rolls in the dish and spread a generous amount of the Pimento Cheese Spread on top of the Ham. Place top half of Rolls on the Cheese Spread.
In a Small dish, melt the Butter, and add the Total Seasoning and Brown Sugar to the melted Butter. Stir well, and brush on the tops of the Rolls.
Sprinkle Sesame Seeds on top of the Rolls. Place the dish in the Oven at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the Rolls are golden brown, and the Cheese is melted. Remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy!
NOTE: If you cannot find Lawry’s Total Seasoning, you can use Garlic Salt, a little Italian Seasoning, and dried Parsley Flakes, along with the Brown Sugar.
