Ingredients

  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or sour cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Add Ingredients to Crock Pot

Place chicken breasts into the crock pot.

Add:

  • onion
  • garlic
  • white beans
  • green chiles
  • chicken broth

Season with:

  • garlic salt
  • onion powder
  • cumin
  • chili powder
  • black pepper

2. Slow Cook

Cover and cook:

  • LOW for 6–7 hours
    or
  • HIGH for 3–4 hours

Chicken should become tender and fully cooked.

3. Shred the Chicken

Remove chicken breasts from the crock pot.

Shred with two forks.

Return shredded chicken back to the crock pot.

4. Make It Creamy

Add cream cheese to the crock pot.
