Instructions

1. Prep the Ribs

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs (this helps make them tender). Pat dry with paper towels.

2. Season

In a small bowl, mix:

  • Brown sugar
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper

Rub the seasoning all over both sides of the ribs.

3. Add Coca-Cola & Bake

Place ribs in a large baking dish or on a foil-lined sheet pan.

Pour Coca-Cola around (not directly on top of) the ribs.

Cover tightly with foil.

Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until ribs are tender.

4. Add BBQ Sauce & Finish

Remove foil and drain excess liquid.

Brush ribs generously with barbecue sauce.

Increase oven temperature to 400°F and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.

5. Serve

Let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
