  BOW TIE LASAGNA

BOW TIE LASAGNA
This Bow Tie Lasagna is so good, and it’s so easy, because you make it in one pot.  The flavors are so delicious, and the spices all blend together for a wonderful dish that everyone is sure to love.  This is such a great way to make Lasagna, with very little clean up, and no baking involved.  Make sure to keep this one handy.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:1 pound of Ground Sirloin1 Medium sweet Onion – chopped1 teaspoon of Minced Garlic1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt1 teaspoon of Seasoned Salt1/2 teaspoon of Seasoned Pepper2 teaspoons of Italian Seasoning1 teaspoon of Ground Oregano1 teaspoon of Sweet Basil
1 can of diced tomatoes – 15 -16 ounces1 can of Stewed Tomatoes – 15 ounces1 can of Tomato Paste – 6 ounces1 can of Tomato Sauce, with Basil, Garlic and Oregano – 16 ounces
24 ounces of Water1/3 cup of Brown Sugar1 large can of Tomato Sauce – 16 ounces
1 pound of Bow Tie Pasta1 large container of Shredded Parmesan Cheese

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:In a large heavy bottomed Skillet or Pot, brown the Ground Sirloin, until no pink is visible and Sirloin is completely cooked.  Add chopped Onion, and Minced Garlic.  Stir well, and cook until Onion is cooked, and lightly brown.  In a small bowl, combine all the spices, and add to the Meat/Onion.  Stir well.  Add the Diced Tomatoes, Stewed Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Tomato Sauce (with Basil, Garlic and Oregano) and Water.  Stir altogether, and sprinkle Brown Sugar over the Meat Sauce.  Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Open the Tomato Sauce, and pour it into a bowl.  Add Garlic Salt, and Italian Seasoning to the bowl, and a teaspoon of Brown sugar, and stir to blend.  In a large bowl, ladle the Meat Sauce into the bowl, leaving the bottom of the Pot covered in Sauce, about an inch thick.  Open the Bow Tie Pasta, and add about half the Pasta on top of the Meat Sauce.  Pour half of the Tomato Sauce on top of the Pasta, and Ladle half of the Meat Sauce over the Pasta, covering the Pasta in the sauces. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.  Add the remaining Bow Tie Pasta on top of the Meat Sauce, and pour the remaining Tomato Sauce over the Pasta, and add the remaining Meat Sauce on top.  Make sure the Pasta is submerged in the Sauce.  Add a generous amount of the Shredded Parmesan Cheese on top of the Meat Sauce, cover with the lid, and cook on Medium Low/Low for about 45 minutes, or until Pasta is Al Dente.

Serve and Enjoy!
