HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
1 package of Golden Oreo Cookies
1 package of White Chocolate – Vanilla Almond Bark
Food Coloring Gel (In your favorite colors)
Yellow Food Coloring Gel – for the Centers
Daisy Mold – Daisy Flower Oreo Cookie Chocolate Mold : Home & Kitchen (amazon.com)
HERE ‘S WHAT YOU DO:
First, Place the White Chocolate Almond Bark in a large bowl, and place the bowl. (If the White Chocolate is in small squares, remove the Chocolate from the plastic package and place only the White Chocolate in the bowl). Melt the White Chocolate in the Microwave for about 1 – 3 minutes, stopping about every 15 seconds to stir the Chocolate. When the Chocolate is completely melted, remove from the Microwave. Place about 3 Tablespoons of the Melted Chocolate in a small dish, and add several drops of bright Yellow Food Coloring Gel, and stir well to blend. Â
Add the Yellow colored Chocolate to the center of the Daisies, making the Yellow center of the Flower. Continue filling until all the centers have been filled with the Yellow Chocolate. Allow about 10 minutes for the Yellow centers to set or harden. If you coloring the White Chocolate with Food coloring Gel, place the Chocolate in small bowls, dividing the Chocolate for different colors. In one bowl, you may want to add Purple, and in another bowl, Aqua, Light Green, or Pink, or another favorite color, or leave part of the Chocolate White if you prefer.Â
In the Daisy Mold, fill the Mold 1/2 full with the Chocolate, and then place an Oreo in the mold on top of the Chocolate.Â
Fill the mold with remaining Chocolate, covering the Oreo. Allow to sit for about 1/2 an hour, or until the Chocolate has set, or hardened.Â
Gently flip the mold over onto Parchment paper on the counter to remove the Daisies from the mold. Continue filling the mold, following the directions above until you have all the Daisy Cookies needed, or until all the chocolate has been used. If the chocolate starts to thicken while you’re filling the molds, simply place it back in the Microwave for a few seconds until melted. When all cookies are set, serve on a Cookie Plate, Platter, or fill cellophane bags for special treats. Enjoy!
