Published by: Jennie
These sugar cookies have a buttery, soft center and crispy edges with sweet little bursts of sprinkles in every bite, the best premade cookie dough I have ever made.

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles

  • Take a 2 inch cookie scoop and scoop the cookies onto a small baking sheet covered with a piece of parchment paper. Place cookie dough balls in the freezer and let cookies freeze for a few hours.
  • Place cookie dough balls in the freezer and let cookies freeze for a few hours. hen place the cookies in a ziploc freezer bag and leave in freezer.
  • When ready to bake your balls of dough in the air fryer, get the frozen cookie dough out of the freezer and place nine cookies (or however many you want to cook), in a single layer, in the bottom of the air fryer basket, on regular parchment paper, and close the lid.
  • Tap the power button, then tap the bake button, set the temperature to 300 and bake for 8-9 minutes.
  • Remove from air fryer to a wire rack, and cool completely

Notes

I like to enjoy these cookies at room temperature. If you want to bake the entire batch of cookies you will have to bake the whole batch in three or four different batches, depending on the size of your air fryer, that will take you around 30-40 minutes.
