What ingredients will I need to gather to make this recipe?

  • simple syrup – you can use any brand of simple drink syrup
  • orange juice
  • cranberry juice
  • rose wine – we used carlo rossi
  • vodka
  • Ice
  • Orange slice for garnish
  • Apples – we used equal parts of a granny smith and a red delicious
  • cinnamon stick

What tools will I need to make this martini recipe?

  • Martini shaker – A martini shaker is an essential part of making a martini. They are where you mix and shake your drink.
  • Martini strainer – A strainer is great to use if you have added a cinnamon stick, cloves, fruit, ice, etc in your shaker. Place the strainer on top of your shaker and pour. This ensures that only the liquid ingredients end up in your martini glass, but you still get all the flavor.

Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail shaker
  • 1 Cocktail strainer
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 Martini glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 ounce Simple syrup
  • 1 ounce Orange juice
  • 1 ounce Cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces Rose wine
  • 1 ounce Vodka
  • Ice
  • Orange slice for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish
  • 1/4 cup Apple – chopped

Instructions
 

  • Chop and peel apple and add to the cocktail shaker. Then add one orange slice, and a cinnamon stick.
  • Next, add all of the liquid ingredients to the cocktail shaker on top of the fruit you just added.
  • Add a couple cubes of ice and place top on shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
  • Remove top from shaker and add strainer, pour into martini glass, add a cinnamon stick and half an orange slice for garnish.
