Cowboy Spaghetti
Cowboy Spaghetti
If you love hearty, stick-to-your-ribs comfort food, you’re going to fall in love with this Cowboy Spaghetti.

It’s one of those easy, family-style dinners that fills the house with the most incredible smell — smoky bacon, savory ground beef, sweet tomato sauce, and just a touch of spice.

Every bite tastes like something you’d find simmering on a cowboy’s campfire — cozy, rustic, and full of flavor.

This recipe has all the things my family loves: crispy bacon, tender spaghetti, rich tomato sauce, and a hearty mix of ground beef and kielbasa.

The addition of Ranch Style beans and a little brown sugar gives it that perfect balance of sweet and savory.

It’s the kind of meal that makes everyone happy at the dinner table — and best of all, it comes together in under 40 minutes!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package (13–14 oz) kielbasa, sliced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (reserve some for topping)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) Ranch Style beans, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for topping
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to the package directions. Drain and set aside. - Brown the meat:
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef and kielbasa over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease. - Add the flavor:
Add the chopped onion and cook for 2–3 minutes, until softened and fragrant. Stir in the tomato sauce, Ranch Style beans, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and all the seasonings — garlic salt, chili powder, Italian seasoning, cumin, oregano, and garlic powder. - Simmer:
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and the flavors meld together. - Combine:
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss well to coat. - Top and serve:
Stir in crumbled bacon (saving a little for garnish), sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve hot.

Jennie’s Thoughts
There’s something about Cowboy Spaghetti that feels like home to me — cozy, simple, and full of warmth. When I make this, I usually have music playing, the kitchen smells amazing, and everyone starts wandering in asking, “What’s for dinner?”

I love how this dish uses ingredients you probably already have — nothing fancy, just real food that tastes incredible together. The kielbasa gives it a smoky richness, and that touch of brown sugar rounds out the tomato sauce perfectly.

If you want to make it extra special, sprinkle on a little shredded Colby Jack cheese right before serving — it melts right into the sauce and makes it even creamier.

This is the kind of meal that feels like a hug in a bowl — and the leftovers? Even better the next day.
