Tips for Best Results

Boil Exactly One Minute

Too short and the cookies may not set. Too long and they can become dry.

Use Old Fashioned Oats

They give the best chewy texture.

Let Caramel Melt Slowly

The warm burner helps soften the caramel without burning the mixture.

Use Parchment Paper

This prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.
