What is the difference between a cookie and a cookie cake?
The main difference for me between a cookie and a cookie cake is the size of the cookie cake, a cookie is typically a small, individual-sized baked treat. A cookie cake is baked in a large round cookie pan is several inches thick and has a chewy texture compared to a soft, small cookie.
Cookies are normally baked in batches of 12, but the dough for a cookie cake is spread evenly in the pan and baked as a whole cookie, resulting in a single, large dessert that can be sliced like a cake.
